The City of Bonita Springs, Florida- Permit Application

Beginning May 1, 2008 Public Works will issue Driveway and Right-of-Way permits.

Permits will now be issued at City Hall, between the hours of 8:30am and 12:00pm and
    1:00pm and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
    Currently the City of Bonita Springs is only issued these permits at this time.
    All other permits will be issued through Lee County until further notice.

City of Bonita Springs - Rental Permit
City of Bonita Springs Ordinance No. 05-14 requires that "every owner of a property in the
City of Bonita Springs who rents a non-owner occupied single-family, duplex or multi-family (excluding any properties with more than six dwelling units that are regulated under Florida Statutes Ch. 718, Condominiums, or Florida Statutes Ch. 719, Homeowners Associations) dwelling, regardless of the term of the lease being transient (short term under six months, except for exemptions filed by lodging establishments) or a long term rental, is required to get an annual rental permit from the City Manager or designee prior to leasing, subleasing, renting or allowing the occupancy of such unit to another natural person or other natural persons, regardless of relationship to the owner".

City of Bonita Springs Ordinance No. 05-14

This completed application must be submitted with an annual permit fee of $100.00

Note: RENEWAL DATES CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW This permit is valid from October 1 through September 30 AND renewable in September of each year and shall not be prorated. A separate application form must be filed and a separate annual fee must be paid for each rental unit applied for.
