The Bonita Springs City Council is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Tree Advisory Board. There are three vacancies for terms set to expire December 31, 2024.
The Tree Advisory Board recognizes the importance of trees to our community and in our lives. One of the board’s primary responsibilities is to review land development and zoning site plans to ensure heritage trees are protected and preserved. The board is also committed to maintaining the City’s designation as a Tree City USA. Members are expected to attend meetings regularly, contribute to group discussions, and conduct independent research as needed. All meetings are open to the public.
To be considered for appointment, please submit a completed application to the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 9101 Bonita Beach Rd., Bonita Springs, Florida. Anyone wishing to complete a paper application may do so at City Hall.
