Jamie Bogacz was elected to Bonita Springs City Council District 1 in 2022.

Jamie is a Bonita Springs native. She has been married to her husband Tim, a firefighter for the Bonita Springs Department, for twenty-four years. They have two sons together.  She is a very big supporter of youth and high school sports and is looking forward to more community involvement in her new position as a councilperson.

Jamie has fifteen years’ experience in client relations and support services in the healthcare industry and feels she is well poised to care for the Bonita Springs community. Her priorities include assisting with hurricane relief and the revitalization of the downtown district.

Jamie’s mission is to protect the city as it grows; to make certain that it maintains the hometown feel that she loves, while creating a downtown area that will be pedestrian friendly with things to offer like public access to the river, shops, restaurants, green space, parks and concerts to make Bonita Springs a popular destination.

Jamie serves as the liaison on the Fire Control District committee and is an alternate on the Special Events and the Florida League of Cities committees.
