Serving his second term after being first elected in 2020, Jesse Purdon is the Councilman for Bonita Springs District 2 and the city’s Deputy Mayor.

A strong advocate for his constituents, he has focused on key local issues like downtown development, supporting law enforcement, and improving water quality.

Councilman Purdon is also actively involved in several organizations, representing the City of Bonita Springs, including:

  • Florida League of Cities
  • SWFL Inc.
  • FGCU Vester Water Board
  • Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Henry
  • Latinos 239

    Additionally, he serves as the city’s liaison for the Bonita Springs Outreach Committee and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. He is also a Senior Advisor to U.S. Congressman Byron Donalds.

In their personal time, Jesse and his wife, Malaina, are committed to giving back to the community and can often be seen supporting various local causes. They also enjoy cheering on their son, who is an avid soccer player.
