Presentation to the Bonita Springs Elementary School Arbor Day Poster Contest Winners
The City of Bonita Springs is recognized as a 15-year recipient of the National Arbor Day Tree City USA Program, which promotes education, activities, and preservation trees within communities. The City Council celebrated Arbor Day by proclaiming April 26, 2024 National Arbor Day in the City of Bonita Springs. Additionally, the Tree Advisory Board worked with the Bonita Springs Elementary School to host an annual Arbor Day Poster Contest using the theme “Bonita Trees”. Students participated and the Tree Advisory Board selected a winner in each grade level that participated. The winning students will receive $25 gift cards for their participation. Copies of the winning posters will be displayed in the entry way at City Hall.
